On November 28, 2023, the school was abuzz with the excitement of hosting Sister Nirmalini, Superior General of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation. The school band led her and all the Sisters from the gate towards the auditorium where they were showered with flower petals by colourfully attired students. She was presented with cards and flowers and the school choir sang a hymn. After this everyone was captivated by the students of the preprimary school, who performed a prayer dance to “Har taraf har jagah har kahin pe hai, haan usi ka Noor”.  The primary school students welcomed her with a classical welcome dance while the students of the high school presented the life of Mother Veronica through a mime. Sister Nirmalini, addressed the students and appreciated all the effort put in by them to bring together an amazing program.

She later met and spoke to the staff members of Carmel, especially about her interactions with Pope Francis at the Vatican and the impact it had on her. She reminded the Carmel staff to be aware of the responsibilities of each teacher in imparting the values of the country’s constitution.
