A session on Environmental Consciousness was conducted in the Primary wing of Carmel Convent School, Chandigarh on Tuesday, 31st October, 2023. The students of class 4 and 5 attended the talk. The resource person, Ms Shivani, from the Department of Environment, Chandigarh gave an enlightening talk on creating environment consciousness among students. Students were shown captivating videos to foster awareness about our environment. Several ways in which students can contribute towards conserving and maintaining an eco-friendly environment were shared by the resource person.  Towards the end of the session, a pledge for the environment was taken by all students and teachers.  The resource person, Ms Shivani, was thanked for her valuable inputs on the topic.
