On October 7th, 2023, the Heritage and Tourism Club of Class 8 organised an exhibition in the school. The event was organised on the Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) day where the students exhibited the rich culture, food, traditional dresses, and monuments of various states and union territories of India. This exhibition was a vibrant, colourful display of rich Indian heritage that left the visitors spellbound. The club members collaborated and worked diligently to present their state’s or UTs’ unique cultural identity. The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity for the young minds to explore the essence of India’s cultural diversity. Students from each state presented the highlights of their respective states. They dressed up in the traditional attire and served the state’s famous cuisines. The interactive games and quizzes added to the fun of the exhibition. Parents and visitors were asked to guess the names of famous monuments and cultural troupes from the images displayed. They were equally impressed with the knowledge and enthusiasm of the students. The exhibition was a unique learning experience that has helped the students appreciate the majestic beauty and diversity of our country. The efforts put in by the Heritage and Tourism club were appreciated, and it was evident that they had worked very hard to make this exhibition a success.
