The CCS Eco Club celebrated the Earth Day on 22nd April 2024 in the school auditorium. Through a special prayer service, songs, a dance and a skit on the theme of Earth Day, messages about saving water, reducing the use of plastic and contributing towards a greener environment were conveyed. A video message by Kathleen Rogers, the Earth Day Network Global President, was played. The eco-friendly aspects of the school campus were also showcased through a short video montage. The Principal, Sister Shanta, addressed the students, urging them to contribute proactively to the upkeep of environment and to adopt sustainable practices.

In the week leading up to the Earth Day, the CCS Eco Club organised Poetry Recitation Competition for classes VI – VIII and Personification for classes IX – X from 15th April – 19th April 2024. The winners of the competitions were felicitated by the School Manager, Sister Sumeeta and Principal, Sister Shanta during the Earth Day celebrations on 22nd April 2024.
