The students of class XII along with the class teachers made sure that workers day is a memorable one for all the workers at Carmel. The program started by welcoming them into the auditorium with a thunderous applause. After lighting the auspicious lamp, the students prayed for the good health and well-being of the workers and their families. The choir sang a medley of songs including some of the favourite ones of the workers. This was followed by an eclectic mix of dances to some popular songs. The workers were then invited for musical chairs and both the workers, and the students enjoyed the songs that played while each worker scrambled to get a chair.

Lucky draw was a game in which each of the workers were given a number then a random number was picked and the worked accorded that number was assigned a task to perform. The students kept the audience captivated with some more games after which the students of class XII performed an entertaining and innovative qawwali.

Hari Shankar represented the workers on stage with a heartwarming speech thanking everyone and also motivating the students to do well.

In the end the principal Sister Shanta gave a speech in Hindi so that she could convey her heartfelt message to the workers. The workers were then given handmade cards and invited to the foyer for lunch.
