A wonderful, fun filled programme was put up by students of Class 5 & Class 8 on the festive occasion of Christmas on18th and 19th December, in the School Auditorium. The programme commenced by seeking blessings of the Almighty through a soulful prayer service. Students showcased glimpses of the nativity play that apprised all the students with the Nativity of Lord Jesus. This was followed by showcasing the importance and meaning of each alphabet of the word ‘Christmas.’ Students of class 8 beautifully highlighted the significance of the Christmas tree, a star, bells, wreath, and other related items used to decorate Christmas trees. Melodious Christmas Carols were sung by the students of class 5 that added a festive cheer and Christmas vibe all-around. The carol singing was followed by an energetic and foot tapping dance sequence on Christmas songs by students of class 5. The programme concluded with the Principal’s speech encouraging all students to spread the Christmas message of love, joy, hope and compassion for all. The programme ended with all the students singing the Carmel School Anthem with conviction and zeal.
