An informative talk on Disaster Management was given by the resource person Mr Sanjeev Kohli, Nodal officer, (NDMA)Natural Disaster Management Authority, Chandigarh, to the entire staff of Carmel Convent School on March 1, 2024, in the School Auditorium.

The resource person guided all the teachers on the potential threat of natural disasters especially earthquakes.  The workshop was aimed to foster among all faculty members the preparedness and readiness to handle the student community in the face of such potential natural disasters.  The talk imparted knowledge and understanding to all the members to manage such disasters.  Various strategies and practical aspects were discussed by the resource person and in-depth knowledge was shared with the entire staff.
