An enriching session on ‘A Mirror Within – A quest for self-awareness’ was conducted by Ma’am Preeti Swami on February 29, 2024 for all the members of the Carmel fraternity. It began with a wonderful greeting session titled ‘Mixer Blender’. Teachers exchanged greetings in small groups and shared a few of their unique qualities amongst themselves. This was followed by an interesting and innovative group activity that aimed at strengthening interpersonal relations among all the members. It also highlighted the creative ideas that came to the forefront as a result of brilliant teamwork and camaraderie.
Teachers were taken through a beautiful journey of self-introspection. Understanding their own inner self and making an endeavour to enhance oneself towards a more positive and contended version of themselves. The resource person, Ma’am Preeti Swami guided everyone to write ‘A Letter of Resignation’ addressed to self, in which, teachers were told to write down and quit any one quality or aspect of their personality which was hindering in their personal growth and happiness. The session ended with a peaceful meditation that elevated everyone to a serene state of mind and body. It was a wonderful experience for all.
