Carmelites celebrate teacher’s day with joyous fervour, and they put their bright and extremely creative minds to make the entire week a memorable affair for their teachers. The cabinet planned the events meticulously, starting with a round of Tambola on September 2, 2024. The teachers came dressed in yellow and blue, the theme set by the cabinet. After an exciting and interesting round of Tambola, the teachers shook a leg to some music. On September 3, 2024, the cabinet planned a relay race with a twist. They divided the staff into 10 teams and gave each team a colour. The teams then competed against each other in 3-legged race, sack race, book balancing race and each of these races was interspersed with General Knowledge questions. It was a hard-fought competition as the teachers enthusiastically took part in each challenge. In the end team number 10 emerged as winners. On September 5, 2024, the teachers were given a warm welcome as they entered to the loud applause of the students. The program was an eclectic mix of songs, dances, quizzing, games and skit. The students showered teachers with love, flowers and cards. The cabinet had a special personalized card and a gift hamper for each teacher. Later the teachers were taken for lunch by the PTA members, where there was another round of fun filled games, songs and dance making it an extra special day for the Carmel staff.
