The students of classes IV and IX presented an inspirational programme to mark the Republic Day. The guest of honour for the special occasion was Ma'am Sonia, who has completed 37 years of service. Children of class IV presented a dance and personified various women members of the drafting committee of our constitution, showcasing the contribution of women to nation building. Students of class XI students also presented a play interwoven with dances depicting the rich and varied cuisine, dances and songs of various states of India. The school choir mesmerized the audience with a melodious patriotic song. Ma'am Sonia addressed the gathering and urged students to work tirelessly towards making the nation proud.
On January 26, the management, teachers, non-teaching staff, workers, the members of the school band, along with their parents, gathered at the school stage to celebrate Republic Day with the nation. Ma'am Sonia once again graced the occassion as the chief guest and she was led to the stage by the school band to the tune of 'Saare Jahaan se Achha, Hindustan Hamara'. Once on stage she hoisted the flag and took the salute as the band played the national anthem and the rest of the audience joined in.
