On September 30, 2024, students of the Primary Wing, Carmel Convent School, commemorated and celebrated the Birth Anniversary of their Foundress Venerable Mother Veronica, in the School Auditorium.  The special celebration, organized by the Mother Veronica Committee commenced by extending a heartfelt welcome to respected Sisters, teachers and the student community.  The programme began with a befitting introduction about 'Mother Veronica' and highlighting the significance of this special day in the lives of all Carmelites.  The audience was led into a serene and soulful prayer service that was interspersed with melodious singing by the choir.  A unique and soulful prayer service saw students placing their sincere intentions that were interspersed with melodious singing by the choir. This was followed by a beautiful and soulful visual presentation of a meaningful hymn. Few students recited a self-composed poem as a tribute to our Foundress Mother Veronica, in perfect poetic rendition. This was followed by a mesmerizing and harmonious medley of songs dedicated to Mother Veronica. Students of the Peace and Kindness Club further highlighted the virtue of 'Peace' that had also been an integral value personified by Mother Veronica in thought, action and deed.  A graceful dance performance to celebrate Mother Veronica's life was showcased on the stage with utmost grace, poise and precision. Towards the end of the programme, Principal Sister Sefali addressed the audience and gave an insightful discourse on our Foundress Venerable Mother Veronica, the values we as Carmelites, should inculcate in ourselves.

Class 5 students were shown the inspirational movie," A Strange Destiny " that captivated the audience.  Later, many students shared how profoundly they had been impacted by our Venerable Mother Veronica's virtuous life.

Various competitions were held for all the classes on this momentous occasion of Mother Veronica's Birth Anniversary.
